Brief:
To bring people together through music and embrace the diversity of people through the diversity of music (Open Up Playlist Concept) at the Untold music festival 2021.
We had to design the physical activation and the activities that festival goers would enjoy in the activated area.
Approach:
We came up with the festival concept “Play On” which encouraged people to continue an active lifestyle despide the covid pandemic and at the same time having fun. We brought gamification to the activation in the form of a VR game called dance tetris where the players would have to dodge tetris pieces ultimately forcing them to perform a choreography to the song being played in the game.
We also made the entire activation look like an audio equalizer visually bringing the music concept into the structure of the activation. Festival goers could enter an illuminated cube and play their favourite songs and the whole activation would light up to the rhythm of their music.
